Membership Elects New Leaders at HCANH Annual Meeting
At the June 13 HCANH Annual Meeting in Meredith, the membership elected two new Board members: Barbara Duckett, CEO at Home Healthcare, Hospice & Community Services; and Monique Malanga, CFO at Lake Sunapee Region VNA & Hospice. Also elected to a first term was Gail Tattan-Giampaolo, who was appointed to completing the unexpired term of Rebecca Hutchinson who resigned in January 2007 to take a position in the House majority leader’s office.
Elected to second terms were Maggie Burke, Seacoast VNA; Linda Carter, Healthy at Home; and Julie Reynolds, Rochester District VNA. Margaret Franckhauser, Community Health & Hospice, was elected to her third term on the Board. Leaving the Board this year, having completed three terms of service, were Mary DeVeau, Concord Regional VNA; and Richard Skeels, Home Healthcare Hospice & Community Services.
The membership also voted the following slate of officers for the coming year: Karen Baranowski, President; Gail Tattan-Giampaolo, Vice President; Linda Carter, Treasurer; Rachel Chaddock, Secretary; and Margaret Franckhauser, At-Large Member of the Executive Committee.
